Dr. Cerrene CervantesDr. Cervantes is the Executive Director of NAMI Solano County and has over 25 years of experience in the mental health, education, justice system, non-profit industry, social services, leadership, management, marketing, organizational business and public relations sectors. 

She has extensive research that seeks to transform the understanding and treatment of mental illnesses, paving the way for prevention, recovery, and cure.  Her expertise spans beyond the application of systems through transformation in child welfare, mental health, education, leadership, organizational behavior, consumer engagement, program evaluation, and development.

Dr. Cervantes has more than 20 years of experience as a federal and state executive in policies, data, programs, and practice quality improvement. She is an adaptive leader with a strong record of achieving public-policy goals, delivering programmatic impact, and inspiring organizational and social change.

Dr. Cervantes is a well-known state and national speaker and trainer for over 25 years.
Her educational background includes a B.S in Education and Special Education, a  Master’s Degree in organizational leadership and a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology.
