Community Policing Efforts Lead to Suspect Arrest in Indecent Exposure Case
Posted on 02/16/2021

On Saturday, February 13, 2021 at approximately 4:50 a.m., Operation PEACE Officers responded to the report of a suspect masturbating outside of a victim’s residence. The suspect, later identified as 36-year-old Bennie Rapacon of Vallejo, sat outside of a victim’s home on the 100 Block of Idora Avenue while fondling himself and peering into the victim’s window.

Due to the quick actions of community members who shared the resident’s ring camera footage, officers were able to quickly respond, identify and arrest Rapacon. The suspect is a registered sex offender who violated his parole status. Rapacon was booked into the Solano County Jail on charges of indecent exposure.

The Vallejo Police Department would like to thank our residents, community advocates and Department personnel and leadership who worked collaboratively in getting this sexual deviant off the streets.
