Vallejo PD Investigates April 2, 2021 Fatal Traffic Collision Leaving One Man Deceased

On April 2, 2021 at approximately 5:36 p.m., Vallejo Police Department (VPD) officers responded to the report of a motorcycle vs. vehicle traffic collision in the 1400 block of Enterprise Street. 
 
Upon arrival, officers located a 31-year-old male resident of Vallejo (motorcyclist) in critical condition. Medical personnel responded to the scene, attempted life saving measures, and transported the motorcyclist to a local hospital where he was later pronounced deceased by hospital staff. 
 
Preliminary reports indicate that the motorcycle was driving westbound on Enterprise St. when it collided into a second vehicle, driven by a 22-year-old male resident of American Canyon. The 22-year-old driver did not suffer any injuries and is cooperative with the investigation. 

The identity of the deceased is being withheld pending notification of next of kin by the Solano County Coroner’s Office. The circumstances and factors involving the collision are currently being investigated by the Vallejo Police Department Traffic Division.

This is the 5th traffic fatality in the City of Vallejo in 2021.
